Sangeon Kim is a PhD student in History and Ecumenics at Princeton Theological Seminary. He earned a BA from Methodist Theological University and a ThM from Yonsei University in Korea. Prior to doctoral work, Sangeon also earned an MDiv at Candler School of Theology at Emory University. His research project focuses on the dynamics of race and religion in the Korean South and the American South, using the historical records of the Methodist Episcopal Church, South. He is also a lead pastor of Kingston United Methodist Church.
